Holiday Hosting Planner

Tell it when you want to sit down to eat. It builds the cooking plan backwards from there and warns you where your oven is about to let you down.

Saves As You Type

What Are You Cooking?

Add every dish, including the ones someone else is bringing. You set the temperature and time — you know your oven and your recipe better than any app does.

Presets are a starting point only. Change the time and temperature to match your recipe and the size of what you're cooking.

Your Kitchen

Tick only what you actually own. The timeline suggests moving dishes off the oven, and it will never suggest equipment you don't have.

A note on the suggestions. Everything this planner proposes is a starting point, not an instruction. Cooking times change with the size of the dish, the shape of the pan and the oven itself. Check your appliance manual, and cook meat and poultry to a safe internal temperature measured with a thermometer.

Your Guests

Add everyone you've invited. Dietary needs are checked against your menu, and you can note who is bringing what.

How Much to Make

Rough starting amounts based on the guests who said yes. Appetites vary, so treat these as a floor rather than a rule.

Plates, Glasses and Chairs

Enter what you own and see the gap before the day, not an hour before.

Shopping List

Every ingredient from your dishes, merged and sorted by where you'll find it in the shop. Add ingredients to a dish on the Menu tab.

Countdown

The two weeks leading up to the day. Add your own jobs, set how many days before they happen, and move them into place.

Print

Pick what goes on paper. Everything else stays on screen.

In the print dialog, choose "Save as PDF" if you'd rather keep it on your phone than on the fridge.

Backup

Your plan saves itself on this device as you type. A backup file lets you move it to another device or keep it for next year.
